Announcments: 

  1. Period 1 meets for a total of 220 minutes; Periods 3 & 7 meet for a total of 200 minutes.
    Many Moodle accounts were edited:  you should be able to receive notices from the teacher into your chsphantoms.org (Gaggle.net) acc't.
  2. Your parents may log into http://online.brlawrence.net/moodle/ as a guest.  At the home page, click the item just beneath the course title. 
  3. Quiz # 04 (online) has been extended -- it is now due before school on Wednesday. 
  4. Wednesay is "Back to School Night."

Activity:  Demonstration - Logging onto Moodle as a guest.  (You may not take quizzes with this login option:  you need to log in using your account.)
Activity:  Handout 2-1 "What Happened in the Holy Land" - Complete in groups.  You will need to use your Bibles.
Assignment:   Read pp. 59-67.  Answer the even-numbered questions for Review on pp. 61, 63, and 67.  

Tuesday, September 21:  Block 1 - 50 minutes  -- Block 3- 80 minutes -- Block 7 - 80 minutes.
Prayer:  Matthew 9:9-13
Activity:  Go over last week's test on the Introduction & Chapter 1
Optional Assignment: If you received less than a 74% on last week's test, you may write out questions you answered incorrectly, and then write out the correct answers.  Due Thursday at the beginning of class.
Activity / Assignment:  Lecture on Chapter 2, Part 1  There may be some in-class assignments incorporated into the lecture. 
Periods 3 & 7 ONLY:  Activity / Assignment:  Read pp. 67 - 76.  Complete Online Quiz # 05 by Friday afternoon. 

Wednesday, September 22:  Block 1 - 50 minutes  -- Blocks 3 & 7 do not meet.
Prayer:   Luke 9:1-6
Activity / Assignment:   Continue with the Lecture on Chapter 2, Part 1.

Thursday, September 23:   Block 1 - 50 minutes  -- Block 3- 80 minutes -- Block 7 - 80 minutes.
Prayer:  Luke 16:19-31 (Next Sunday's Gospel Reading)
Activity:  Go over the contents of Quiz # 04.
Activity:  Lecture on Chapter 2, Part 2  There may be some in-class assignments incorporated into the lecture. 
Periods 3 & 7 ONLY -- Activity / Assignment:   "Jesus the Messiah"
Assignment:  Read pp. 82-90.  Answer the questions "For Reflection," p. 91.

Friday, September 24:   Special Schedule - Block 1 - 30 minutes  -- Blocks 3 & 7 do not meet.
