Weekly Plan # 14

Announcements:  No special schedules this week:  Period 1 meets for a total of 240 minutes; Periods 3 & 7 for a total of 200 minutes. Quiz # 11, posted last week, is due Tuesday.  Be sure to have your Bible and textbook in class.   You may have noticed a "spike" in your grades:  One lowest test grade has been dropped.  The two lowest quiz grades have been dropped, and the three lowest homework grades have been dropped.

Monday, November 15:  Monday Schedule - All Periods meet.
Prayer:  Luke 18:35-43
Activity:  Pass back papers, discuss promised changes in grading criteria
Activity:  Finish PowerPoint presentations
Assignment:  Read pp. 193-200.  Answer the questions "For Review" on p. 200 by tomorrow.  (Don't forget to complete Quiz # 11 before school tomorrow morning.)
Assignment:  Bring colored pencils, pens, or crayons to class tomorrow.
Assignment:  Be sure to complete Quiz # 11 before school tomorrow -- only two tries allowed.

Tuesday, November 16:  Block 1 - 50 minutes  -- Block 3- 80 minutes -- Block 7 - 80 minutes.
Prayer:  Revelations 3:1-6, 14-22
Activity:  Go over yesterday's homework
Activity:  Presentation on the Gospel of John
Activity / Assignment:  "Signs of John's Gospel" - Complete the drawing of the "sign" assigned to you.  You may find details of the sign in both your Bible and textbook.  Work by yourself.

Wednesday, November 17:  Block 1 - 50 minutes  -- Blocks 3 & 7 do not meet.
Prayer:   Luke 19:11-28
Activity / Assignment:  Continue working "Signs of John's Gospel"

Thursday, November 18:  Block 1 - 50 minutes  -- Block 3- 80 minutes -- Block 7 - 80 minutes.
Prayer:  Period 1:  Luke 19:41-44   --  Periods 3 & 7 (Next Sunday's Gospel):  Luke 23:35-43
Activity:  Group work with "Signs of John's Gospel"
Periods 3 & 7 ONLY -- Activity / Assignment:  (Student) Presentation of the Book of Signs of John's Gospel
Assignment:  Read pp. 207-214.  Complete Quiz # 12 by next Tuesday morning.

Friday, November 19:   Block 1 - 50 minutes  -- Blocks 3 & 7 do not meet.
Prayer: Next Sunday's Gospel Reading:  Luke 23:35-43
Activity / Assignment:  (Student) Presentation of the Book of Signs of John's Gospel
Assignment:  Read pp. 207-214.  Complete Quiz # 12 by next Tuesday morning.

Test # 4 (on the Gospels of Luke & John-- Chapters 6 & 7) is on next Tuesday.
